Digital Content Manager

Do you know that tweeting does not refer to speaking with birds?  Do you also know that a hashtag is not a form of cannabis labeling?  If you answered yes to both of these questions, we may have just the job for you!  You will be tasked with making order out of chaos within the confines of a friendly, fast-paced (and somewhat nautical) work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with vendors, internal team members & clients.
  • Perform key client service tasks, partner with the account directors and fellow account managers and be a primary contact for client facing duties.
  • Write, create, and execute relevant content to specific social media channels
  • Clearly and consistently set expectations with clients and suppliers.
  • Motivate other team members to meet/exceed client expectations.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE and REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • University degree or college diploma
  • 1+ years’ experience working in a business environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (email, phone & in-person)
  • Ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound, be faster than a speeding bullet, and more powerful than a locomotive.

KEY COMPETENCIES for SUCCESS:

  • Working knowledge of Social Media for business (FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic & energetic
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, Outlook
  • Mac skills a plus, but not required (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
